Last weekend saw WarnerBros' The Polar Express open at number two at the Italian box office,but BVI's The Incredibles stayed firmly on top.

As the local box office hotsup in the run-up to Christmas, The Polar Express earned $1,467,954 - butthis paled in comparison to the huge $10,795,560 which The Incredibleshas now earned just two weeks into its release.

Meanwhile, the weekend'sbest result was earned by Lucky Red's French drama Confidences Trop Intimes.Patrice Leconte's film marched into the box office taking $218,360 from 22screens, earning a massive average of $9,925 per screen.

Mikado Film's Bin-jip(Iron 3) also performed impressively. The Korean picture, which receivedits international premiere at this year's Venice Film Festival, grossed $80,965from 11 screens, for an average of $7,211 per screen.
