French sales company FilmsDistribution has sold its Lady Chatterley to Japan's Toshiba on day one of the Cannes Market.

The Pascal Ferran-directedfilm is an adaptation of DH Lawrence's classic, racy novel. Marina Hands stars in the eponymousrole with Jean-Louis Coulloc'h and Hippolyte Girardot.
