Korean giant CJ Entertainment enjoyed a profitable MIFED with strong sales of its film Musa (aka Musa The Warrior) which premiered in September at an interrupted Toronto festival.

The film earned CJ its highest price ever for a German deal when it was sold to E-M-S New Media. Musa, which was produced on a record-breaking budget for a Korean title, exceeding $5m, also sold to Discovery for the former Yugoslavia, Central Partnership for the former Soviet Union, Nontanund Entertainment for Thailand.

Musa headed a package that also included mega hit Joint Security Area and art-house shocker The Isle that was sold to FIP Films for the Nordic Region.
