Lions Gate Releasing will release Lee Myung-Se's acclaimed Korean action thriller Nowhere To Hide in the US, starting with a limited run in New York and Los Angeles in December. The film was sold internationally by sister outfit Lions Gate Films International but this is a separate deal negotiated by Lions Gate Releasing co-presidents Tom Ortenberg and Mark Urman with Tae-Won Chung on behalf of Taewon Entertainment.

The film, which screened at the Vancouver, Pusan and London film festivals last year, in the World Cinema section at Sundance this year and at the New Directors/New Films showcase in New York in April, features popular Korean comic actor Park Joong-Hoon as a police detective on the trail of a top crime lord (Ahn Sung-Ki). The film was produced by Chung Tae-Won and executive produced by Kang Woo-Suk

Nowhere To Hide joins a bulging slate at Lions Gate Releasing which also includes James Ivory's The Golden Bowl, George Romero's Bruiser, Kathryn Bigelow's The Weight Of Water, Raymond De Felitta's Two Family House and E Elias Merhige's Shadow Of The Vampire.
