Samantha Horley, former vice president of international sales at Summit Entertainment, has joined Myriad Pictures as London-based senior vice president of international distribution.

She will report to Eric Christenson, executive vice president of sales & distribution based in Los Angeles, and manage the distribution operations in London. She will be responsible for international theatrical and all-rights sales and distribution in territories including the UK, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, Benelux, Switzerland, Australia and Asia (excluding Japan).

Myriad's upcoming slate includes Chen Kaige's Killing Me Softly, People I Know starring Al Pacino and Kim Basinger and Miguel Arteta's The Good Girl with Jennifer Aniston. Myriad, run by co-presidents Kirk D'Amico and Philip von Alvensleben, is owned by Germany's IN-motion AG.

When at Summit, Horley was responsible for theatrical sales of films such as American Pie, The Blair Witch Project and U-571. Prior to Summit, she was a sales executive with PolyGram Film International and was responsible for theatrical sales and sales projections on titles such as Fargo, The Game and Bean. She also worked for PolyGram Film International Classic Division, Fox Video and 20th Century Fox in various sales capacities.
