Eamonn Bowles' Magnolia Pictures has acquired all North American rights to Interview With The Assassin, the directorial debut of Neil Burger about a man who alleges that he is the second gunman in the shooting of JFK.

The film will have its world premiere at the 1st annual Tribeca Film Festival which runs May 8-12 and is scheduled for domestic release in the autumn. Starring Raymond J Barry, the movie follows an out-of-work TV cameraman who stumbles upon the assassin in question. As he investigates the allegations, the two men become involved in a power struggle.

The deal was negotiated by Bowles with Endeavor agent Modi Wiczyk on behalf of producers Brian Koppelman and David Levien..

Magnolia's 2002 slate includes Dover Kodadhvili's Late Marriage, Jacques Audiard's Read My Lips and Rakhshan Bani-Etemad's Under The Skin Of The City.
