Joe Drake's Mandate Pictureshas restructured the company in the wake of the management buyout in Jan.

Rob McEntegart (pictured) has beennamed executive vice president, business affairs, and will oversee rights andtalent deals for development and production, as well as select distributiondeals such as the company's multi-picture distribution deal with Sony.

He joined Mandate fromIntermedia Films where his chief responsibility was negotiating the businessterms of agreements to acquire rights and engage, writers, producers, directorsand actors.

Joining the business andlegal affairs department are John Biondo as vice president, business and legalaffairs, and Meredith Grindlinger as director, business and legal affairs.Biondo was formerly at Infinity Media, while Grindlinger was at Yari FilmGroup.

Meanwhile Kelli Konop hasbeen hired as vice president of physical production, and Matthew Milam has beenpromoted to story editor.

Mandate's upcoming slateincludes Marc Forster's Stranger Than Fiction with Sony and three films from Ghost House Pictures Sebastian Gutierrez's Rise, UntitledPang Brothers Horror Project andTakashi Shimizu's sequel The Grudge 2.
