Konrad Niewolskiwon the best director jury award for the Polish entry Symmetry, and Evan Estern won the bestcinematography jury award for Bruce Weber's A Letter To True (USA),

The Human Rights Award waspresented to David Redmon's Mardi Gras: Made In China, Alexandra Lescaze's documentary Where Do YouStand' won the North Carolina FilmmakingAward, director Georgina Garcia Riedel was presented with the Sara Lee Women'sEye Award for How The Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer, and Kathryn Tucker Windham, the subject of NortonDill's documentary Kathryn: The Story Of A Teller, received the Outstanding Individual Contributionjury award.

Jose-CarlosRuiz' US-Spanish production Quadrilateral won the best narrative short prize, John Cernak's Joyride won best animated short, and RogerWeisberg's Rosevelt's America picked up the award for best documentary short.
