German sales house MediaLuna has picked up a quartet of new pictures which it will take to market atMifed and AFM later this autumn.

Atlast week's Montreal festival it boarded Metallic Blues, a tragicomic road movie about a couple ofdim-witted Israeli car dealers. Directed by Danny Verete, it won best actor andbest script prizes at the Jerusalem festival.

Itpicked up US indie drama Nine Lives.Written and directed by Dean Howell, it zooms in on the dangerous emotional andsexual intersection of nine individuals in a single day.

Joiningthe promotion of documentary features, the Ida Martins and Andrew Chang-headedoutfit are also representing Hell On Wheels, German feature director Pepe Danquart's insightinto the 2003 Tour De France bicycle marathon.

Media Luna is also in finalnegotiations to represent Hilda's Journey (Hilde's Reise), a roadmovie about love, friendship and AIDS by Switzerland's Christof Vorster. Thefilm premiered in Locarno and screened at Montreal.
