Julie Delpy is in finaltalks to star in the psychological thriller The Legend Of Lucy Keyes, which writer/director John Stimpson will directwhen shooting begins in Massachusets on Nov 1.

Inspired by a well-knownMassachusetts legend, the story chronicles the experiences of a damaged familythat relocates to a home in rural New England where 250 years earlier the Keyesfamily lost their daughter after she went missing in the woods.

The film will shoot onWachusett Mountain in Stimpson's hometown of Princeton, Massachusetts, the siteof the legendary tale.

Boston-based Moody StreetPictures' Mark Donadio and Miriam Marcus will produce with J Todd Harris,president of production for the Los Angeles-based Intellectual PropertiesWorldwide (IPW).

Moody Street's John MacNeiland IPW founder Marc Toberoff will serve as executive producers.

Delpy is in line to play themother of the modern-day family and the producers are in talks with BrookeAdams and MC Gainey for supporting roles.

"The most amazing and trulychilling aspect of the legend is that local historical records revealing thetruth of what happened to little Lucy Keyes were eventually discovered,"Stimpson said in a statement.

"The unnerving fate of LucyKeyes and the thought of history repeating itself result in a very suspensefuland gripping story."

Delpy's deal was negotiatedby Innovative Artists' Craig Shapiro, Rigberg-Rugolo Entertainment and attorneyCraig Emanuel.
