London-based sales agent Moviehouse Entertainment has taken on sales of UK teen comedy Popcorn.Darren Paul Fisher (Inbetweeners)is directing with Rebecca Knapp and Daniel M. San producing.

Moviehouse's Gary Phillips and Mark Vennisare executive producing with Sheryl Crown of Screen East. The film recentlycompleted shooting in Londonand Hertfordshire.

The film stars Jack Ryder,Jodi Albert, Kate Maberly, Andrew Lee Potts, Luke De Woolfson, Collette Brown, and Ophelia Lovibond.

Ryder, a veteran of TV soap Eastenders, starsas an insecure teenager who tries to woo his colleague at the local cinema.

"We're really delighted tohave shot a genuine British teen comedy," producers Knapp and San said. "Wethink it'll be a fun, colourful and commercial film that will appeal to thesame audience who enjoyed American Pie.We're delighted to have Moviehouse Entertainment, oneof the UK's dynamic young sales companies, out there sellingit in the international marketplace."

Moviehouse will be showing footage of Popcorn to buyers at the forthcoming American Film Market in Los Angeles. The company's other AFM offerings are Australianfeature The Magician, Irish film Studs, British comedy Shut Up and Shoot Me, and documentaries New York Doll and Be Here To Love Me:A Film About Townes van Zandt.
