Howard Cohen andEric d'Arbeloff's US independent distributor Roadside Attractions has picked upNorth American distribution rights to Gabriele Muccino's family drama RememberMe, My Love (RicordatiDi Me) from The Works.

Roadside plans a summerrelease for the picture, which played at the Toronto Film Festival last yearand Sundance in January. It was nominated for 10 David Di Donatello Awards andhas grossed more than $12m at the Italian box office.

The deal wasnegotiated by Howard Cohen, co-president of Roadside Attractions, and RebeccaKearey and Andy Ordonez of The Works.

Monica Bellucci stars in thestory of a modern Italian family whose members must face the consequences oftheir demons and desires. Fabrizio Bentivoglio and Laura Morante also star.

"We were bigfans of Gabriele's last film The Last Kiss and are very excited to release Remember Me, My Love," Roadside co-president d'Arbeloff saidin a statement. "It's gorgeous, sexy, modern and very Italian."

This is thecompany's third acquisition following Eytan Fox's political thriller Walk OnWater and MorganSpurlock's gluttony documentary Super Size Me, which will both be released inconjunction with Samuel Goldwyn Films.
