Singer/songwriter, philanthropist and world peace activist Nassiri is launching his global peace initiative in Cannes.

The programme falls into five key initiatives: the world premiere tomorrow of a 12 minute short film Love Sees No Colour sung in 15 languages by children in 18 countries and filmed by 18 directors; World Peace Day at AmPav on Wednesday; the launch of the Want Peace' leisure wear and sports collection; the launch of the NASSIRI World Peace Foundation and the launch of the NASSIRI Peace Prize.

The NASSIRI Peace Prize for film will be presented during this year's Dubai International Film Festival in December to a film-maker in the official selection which furthers the goal of world peace.

Love Sees No Colour is directed by, among others, Stephan Elliott, Rajan Khosa and Lu Chuan among others. On Wednesday evening, Nassiri is an event chair of amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS dinner and auction with Sharon Stone and Harvey Weinstein.
