Diane Nelson (pictured) has been namedpresident of Warner Premiere, a newly created direct-to-DVD production divisionof Warner Bros Entertainment. She will report to both Kevin Tsujihara,president of Warner Bros Home Entertainment Group, and Jeff Robinov, presidentpf production at Warner Bros Pictures.

Warner Premiere was founded to develop, produce and market15 features a year for the direct-to-DVD market, focusing on well-known talentor brands, sequels and prequels to already-producerd Warner Bros properties andreleases with storylines expanding on projects already in production. SelectWarner Premiere titles may also have a limited theatrical exhibition window.

The first title will be Dukes Of Hazzard II, a sequel to the 2005 film, which has already beenshot and will be available in spring 2007.

Nelson was previously executive vice president, global brandmanagement, at Warner Bros Entertainment with the primary responsibility ofmaximizing the company's signature franchises, brands and event propertiesacross all divisions of Time Warner around the world. Since 2000, she hasoverseen the management of the Harry Potterfranchise and represents the studio's interests with Harry Potter author JK Rowling, a job which she will continue todo.

Prior to her global brand management position, Nelson wasexecutive vice president, domestic theatrical marketing, at Warner BrosPictures and before that senior vice president, domestic theatrical marketing,and senior vice president, family entertainment, Warner Bros CorporateWorldwide Marketing & Planning.

She joined the studio in 1996 as director of worldwidecorporate promotions and two years later was promoted to vice president,worldwide corporate promotions.

She had previously worked at Walt Disney Records as directorof national promotions.
