Lars Von Trier's Dogville impressed in The Netherlands over the weekend claiming the second highest screen average, behind chart leader Pirates Of The Caribbean. The drama played on just 15 prints for A-Film Distribution, the country's biggest independent distributor.

Elsewhere in the chart, children's films saw a boost with local favourite The Skippers Of The Kameleon and US animated titles Piglet's Big Movie and Sinbad: Legend Of The Seven Seas all seeing a substantial jump in grosses from the previous weekend.

Skippers has now grossed more than any local film released last year.
