Korean studio Showbox has pre-sold horror title Don’t Click to a slew of Asian distributors including Barkarat Cineleisure Group for China, Hong Kong and Vietnam.

The soon-to-be released film has also gone to Queen International Pictures for Indonesia, Catchplay for Taiwan and Innoform Media for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.

Directed by horror veteran Kim Tae-kyung (The Ghost), the film tells the story of a high school girl who is haunted after clicking on dubious video clips, and her sister who attempts to save her with the help of a computer genius boyfriend. Park Bo-young (Scandal Makers) and Joo Won (SIU) head the cast.

The film is scheduled for wide release in Korea on May 31 as the first major horror picture of the year.

Showbox’s slate also includes action films Confession Of Murder, directed by Jung Byung-gil, and A Company Man, starring Asian heartthrob So Ji-sub (Always); erotic thriller The Scent; Choi Dong-hoon’s heist action blockbuster The Thieves, and Kim Yong-hwa’s 3D creature project Mr Go 3D.
