NonStop Entertainment has picked up Scandinavian distribution rights to winning Venice titles Shame and Terraferma.

The Scandinavian distributor acquired rights to Steve McQueen’s Shame from Hanway. Michael Fassbender won the Best Actor Award in Venice this weekend for his portrayal of a sex addict in the film, which also picked up the International Critics Prize for Best Film at the festival. NonStop will release in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Meanwhile NonStop also picked up rights to Italian drama Terraferma which won the Venice Special Jury Prize, from Elle Driver. It will release in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and the Baltic countries.
