EXCLUSIVE: Carey Fitzgerald’s High Point Media Group has taken world rights to bittersweet comedy.
Carey Fitzgerald’s UK sales outfit High Point Media Group has picked up world rights to completed UK comedy Having You, starring Romola Garai, Anna Friel, Andrew Buchan and Phil Davis.
Sam Hoare directs the comedy, which follows the fortunes of 30-something marriage-phobe, Jack, who, after plucking up the courage to propose to his girlfriend of nine years, is shocked to discover he has a seven year-old son from a long forgotten one-night stand.
Producers are Lucan Toh and Oliver Roskill of Wigwam Films.
“Sharply scripted and boasting top class acting talent, Having You is an absolute gem, combining genuine warmth and humour in a deceptively simple story about big moral choices”, said High Point’s Fitzgerald.
“We are absolutely delighted to be working with Lucan and Oliver and look forward to announcing the film’s first raft of sales in due course.”
