IM Global executive Ruzanna Kegeyan has been named president of Hyde Park International. She will replace Mimi Steinbauer, who is leaving HPI to launch her own international sales company.

Kegeyan, who as EVP of worldwide sales and acquisitions at IM Global handled such projects as A Single Man and Paranormal Activity, will be joined at Los Angeles-based HPI by new VP John Short, who most recently served as VP of YFG International.

The new team will debut several Hyde Park Entertainment titles at the upcoming American Film Market. The company’s current production and sales slate includes Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 3D, on which Hyde Park is partnered with Sony, and spy thriller The Double, due for US release next month.

Upcoming HPI product includes Jayne Mansfield’s Car, starring Billy Bob Thornton, Kevin Bacon and Robert Duvall, and The Bleeder, starring Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts and Christina Hendricks.

In other Hyde Park personnel developments, CFO Bob Lewis has extended his contract with the company through 2016 while Allen Babakhanloo will continue as director of business affairs. Joe D’Angelo will join the international sales and marketing team.

In a statement, Hyde Park Entertainment chairman/CEO Ashok Amritraj said: “I am thrilled to have Ruzanna join us at Hyde Park. Her international experience and professionalism perfectly represents the way I conduct my business. She and John will make a terrific sales team. I wish Mimi the best of luck with her new company. I have enjoyed working with her over the last few years and we will miss her.”
