B Good plans Suddenly remake
EXCLUSIVE: UK production outfit B Good Picture Company is developing a remake of the 1954 Frank Sinatra classic Suddenly.
James Moran is writing the script for the remake of the film in which Sinatra plays a professional hit-man posing as an FBI agent.
The updated version will still be set in the US and promises to keep the noir styles of the original, but will have a “fresh, brutal and surprising spin for modern audiences,” says Moran, who previously wrote the script for Severance.
Producer Joe Stephenson, who runs the London based B Good Picture Company and is in Cannes looking for financing and sales partners, said he was “looking forward to bringing this great story to screens again in a new way for modern audiences, with outstanding roles for an A-list cast.”
Also on the B Good Picture slate is British feature comedy Acts Of God starring Robert Sheehan and Ed Hogg, which is set to shoot late this year.
