Principal photography started this week on UK productions The Wedding Video and The Power, as well as Italian sequel Immaturi - Il Viaggio

Robert Webb, Lucy Punch, Miriam Margolyes and Michelle Gomez will head up the cast in Nigel Cole’s latest film The Wedding Video, which just started shooting in London. Cole co-wrote the script with Tim Firth and James Gay-Rees is producing. Ralph Kamp and Nigel Green act as executive producer. Timeless Films has been appointed as international sales agent and Entertainment Film Distributors will release the romantic comedy in the UK.

London and the Epic Studios in Norwich are hosting the shoot for Paul Hills’s thriller The Power, starring Grace Vallorani, Rosie Fellner, Jonnie Hurn, Valentine Pelka and Constance Carter. Hill wrote the script and also co-produces alongside Mark Forstater. Moviehouse Entertainment handles international sales. Shooting is scheduled to wrap in September.

In Italy, Paolo Genovese has begun shooting the sequel to local box office hit Immaturi. The cast comprises again of Raoul Bova, Ambra Angiolini, Luca Bizzarri, Barbora Bobulova, Anita Caprioli, among others and the story centres on the same seven friends organising a trip to Greece that they never managed to embark on while at school. Italian production companies Lotus and Medusa have joined forces again, with Medusa also releasing the comedy in Italy in January next year.
