EXCLUSIVE: Morris Ruskin’s sales and production entity has picked up world sales rights to the Magician Pictures love story.

Learning To Breathe chronicles the romance between a couple across two periods in their relationship from meeting to break-up.

Dan Turner wrote and directed the drama starring Sam Hazeldine and Natalia Warner. The story takes place on the Caribbean island of Tobago.

“Hazeldine and Warner were chosen because they brought an incredible authenticity to the roles,” said Turner of the leads in his fourth feature.

“Their background has made for a realistic and honest portrayal, sometimes proving very upsetting and raw for them.”

The acquisition marks Shoreline Entertainment’s second film with Turner after thriller Experiment.
