Finnish filmmakerKlaus Haro's Elina continued its winning ways, taking theYoung People's Jury Award at the Sprockets Toronto International Film Festivalfor Children, which wrapped this weekend.

Elina, from Sweden, won theCrystal Bear at the Berlinale's Kinderfilmfest in February, and top prizes atthe Montreal International Children's Film Festival and Sweden's BUFF, a childrenand youth festival in Malmo, in March.

Starring Bibi Andersson, Elina wasselected by jurors in the 'Ages eight and nine' category, while MortenKohlert's Little Big Girl, from Denmark, won the same prizefor the 'Ages 10 to 12' category. Little Big Girl (Ulvepigen Tinke), which premieredat Haugesund last year, is also a multi-award winner.

The audience-selected Feature Film Award went to AWrinkle In Time, from Canada, adapted from the classic book byMadeleine L'Engle and directed by John Kent Harrison.

The Animation Award, alsoaudience-selected, went to Sarah Ball's animated hour Bob The Builder: AChristmas To Remember, from the UK. Angela M.Murray's Divine, also from the UK, won the Short FilmAward.

The festival'ssixth outing was its best attended to date, with admissions up more than 10% from2002. Sprockets, which is part of the Toronto International Film FestivalGroup, showcased 17 features and 54 short films from 21 countries, screening in15 different languages.
