While local hit Nigdy W Zyciu continued to dominate the Polish chart in its third week local distributor SPI Poland were pleased with their second week figures for Sofia Coppola's Oscar-winning Lost In Translation, which slipped just 3% from its launch weekend.

After 10 days on release the comedy drama has already sold 109,531 tickets - more than twice those garnered by family title Looney Tunes: Back In Action which has played 20 more screens during the same period.

This week's highest opener, Tim Burton's Big Fish, made little splash on 40 screens. The fantasy drama rustled up only ninth place in the chart.

Meanwhile CinePix's release of Farrelly Brothers' comedy Stuck On You and Kino S'Wiat's release of French thriller Body To Body (Corps A Corps) failed to register on the top ten grossing $18,443 (zlo 72,516) from 20 screens and $18,075 (zlo 71,066) from 14 screens respectively.
