RAI Trade, the film sales division of the Italy's state-owned RAI broadcast giant, has picked up a trio of new features from producer-distributor Mikado and added the next two pictures from the Taviani brothers, Paolo and Vittorio.

The three from Mikado - Domenica, The Dervish (Il Dervisco) and The Third Act (Il Terza Atto) - are the first to flow from a two year international deal between RAI Trade and Mikado signed during last month's Venice festival.

Domenica, which stars Annabella Sciorra and Claudio Amendola, is based on the novel Ronda Del Guinardo by Juan Marse. Dervish, in production now, is a period piece about a 19th century sheik written and directed by Alberto Rondalli. The Third Act, also now shooting, is a Franco-Italian co-production, adapted from The Confessions Of Zeno by Italo Svevo, and directed by Francesca Comencini.

RAI Trade has also taken up international sales duties on the Taviani brothers' Resurrection, a film in two parts adapted from the Tolstoy novel, which is set up as a co-production with Bavaria Film, France Television and Raifiction.
