Mary Goss Robino has been named senior vice president, worldwide promotions, at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) after ten years at New Line Cinema. Reporting to Gerry Rich, president of worldwide theatrical marketing for MGM, she will be responsible for developing creative marketing and promotional partnerships and tie-ins related to all the company's new theatrical releases.

Most recently at New Line she was senior vice president, national promotions, with credits including Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me for which she won the PMA's REGGIE Award for best promotion marketing campaign for a film over $1m. Prior to New Line she worked for Paramount Pictures as manager of licensing and held publicity and promotions jobs at MGM and 20th Century Fox.

She will be working immediately on MGM's 2001 movie slate which includes Ridley Scott's Hannibal, John Woo's Windtalkers, Barry Levinson's Bandits and John McTiernan's Rollerball.
