In the third week of its release Cold Mountain has finally been pushed off the top of the Romanian box office chart. Welcome To The Jungle and Duplex both made strong starts but the momentum certainly belonged to the Ben Stiller-Drew Barrymore comedy which produced an amazing 5,000 admissions on a mere two screens.

GlobCom's new release, Veronica Guerin was no match for these box office favourites and neither were Mystic River and School of Rock.

The first Kill Bill episode made a strong comeback and is now nearing the 20,000 mark in cumulative admissions. Among this week's releases Lost In Translation is hoping for a stronger impact on the audience than last week's Oscar-winner, Clint Eastwood's Mystic River.
