The appointment was announced today (March 5) in London and Dignam will start at the helm on Monday, March 9.

'Screen is a fantastic brand and I'm really excited about the opportunities we have both with the magazine and Screendaily,' Dignam said. 'The film industry is going through enormous changes and Screen has a vital role in reporting and making sense of that change. We will be building on Screen's expertise and reach across the international film market, with big and exciting plans for both print and online'.
