Senator International hasacquired worldwide rights (excluding German-speaking territories) to the Germanromantic comedy Vaya Con Dioswritten and directed by Zoltan Spirandelli.

Recent winner of fourBavarian Film Awards including best new director, best new actor and best newactress, the film tells the story of three monks who leave their bankruptmonastery to find their last remaining brother monks in Italy. But failing toresist the temptations of the real world on their journey, they run into a radiantyoung woman.

The film, set for atheatrical release in Germany through Senator Entertainment in March 2002,stars Daniel Bruehl, Michael Gwisdek, Matthias Brenner and Chaira Schoras.Senator acquired the film from producer Dieter Ulrich Aselmann; it is executiveproduced by Martin Rohrbeck and Patrick Zorer.

Senator International alsosold international rights on German thriller Das Experiment which was recently acquired by Samuel Goldwyn Filmsfor US theatrical.
