Germany's Senator Film has established a long-term deal with director Andreas Dresen and producer Peter Rommel, the team behind Summer In Berlin and Grill Point.
The first project under the deal will be Wolke Neun, a Rommel production which Senator will distribute.
The film is the story of a woman who is married for 30 years and starts an affair with a 70-year-old man. The production is expected to start shooting soon.
The second film under the deal will be Whisky Mit Wodka, which Dresen will also direct. Christoph Mueller will produce for Senator, while Rommel co-produces. The screenplay was written by Wolfgang Kohlhaase, who wrote Dresen's Summer In Berlin.
Whisky Mit Wodka is the humorous story of a famous actor with an alcohol problem who has to face competition from a young rival. That project will start shooting in September.
Senator will release both theatrically in 2008.
