Shaun Redick, formerly director of the independent film division at The William Morris Agency (WMA), aka WMA Independent, has joined LA talent agency International Creative Management (ICM) as an agent in its international division.

Redick has been at WMA Independent for four years working with Cassian Elwes and Rena Ronson; among the projects he will bring with him to ICM is American Crime to be directed by Dan Mintz (Cookers). During the Cannes Film Festival this year, WMA Independent secured financing for the film from China, making it the first foreign film to be financed by sources within the People's Republic.

Redick will now report to Ken Kamins, executive vice president and head of international operations for ICM. "We're thrilled to have Shaun join the ICM team," said Kamins in a statement. "The strength of his relationships at this early stage of his career truly impresses us."

"Ken Kamins has a solid plan for today's international independent film arena. From our first conversation I knew that ICM with their client list of both established and rising talent would be a perfect fit for what I want to accomplish building groundbreaking indie features," said Redick.
