Alex Massis' The Film Source Company has acquired worldwide rights to Judd Ne'eman's Israeli drama Nuzhat.
Muhammad Bakri, Yael Hadar, Merav Guber and singer-songwriter Efrat Gosh star in the story of a pregnant soap star who discovers that her real life is being scripted by the writer of her TV show, a woman who has just suffered a miscarriage.
Oded Leopold and Palestinian singer Lubna Salame round out the key cast. Shirley Ram-Amin, Daniel Avitzur and Ne'eman wrote the screenplay and Ne'eman produced with Alexandra Selentcher and Hanania Baer.
The Film Source Company also represents the Israeli films of Israel Michal Bat Adam and Moshe Mizrahi's Women.
