UK-based sales company The Works hasboarded two films world premiering at Cannes: Critics' Week entry TheHorizon Of Events (L'Orizzonte Degli Eventi) and Come Into The Light (Alla Luce DelSole).

Horizon Of Events is directed byDaniele Vicari, whose Velocita Massima played at the Venice International FilmFestival. The story focuses on a nuclear physicist whose life crashes aroundhim after making a disastrous decision.

Come Into The Light is the true storyof Father Pino Puglisi's fight to help underprivileged children in Sicily andhis murder by the local Mafia. It is written and directed by Roberto Faenza,whose previous credits include The Soul Keeper.
