Jiminy Glick In Lalawood, Vadim Jean's big screen treatment of Martin Short'soutrageous alter ego talk show host, will close the 29th Toronto InternationalFilm Festival (TIFF) on Sept 18.

The world premiere, some ofwhich was shot at TIFF two years ago, is one of several announced by festivalorganisers today (August 10) in a list of gala screenings that includes David ORussell's eagerly awaited follow-up to Three Kings, the existential comedy IHeart Huckabee's starring Jude Law,Mark Wahlberg, Naomi Watts, Dustin Hoffman and Lily Tomlin, Alexander Payne'sroad trip movie Sideways starringPaul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church, and John Duigan's epic romance HeadIn The Clouds, which stars StuartTownsend, Charlize Theron and Penelope Cruz.

Also receiving worldpremieres are Bill Condon's Kinsey,an account of the revolutionary 20th century sex researcher starring LiamNeeson and Laura Linney, Paul Harris' ensemble drama Crash starring Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillonand Bill Fichtner, Dan Harris' coming-of-age story Imaginary Heroes starring Sigourney Weaver and Jeff Daniels, Frank EFlowers' crime caper Havenstarring Bill Paxton and Orlando Bloom, and James Toback's drama When Will IBe Loved, which stars Neve Campbelland Frederick Weller

Niels Mueller's TheAssassination Of Richard Nixon,which premiered in Cannes earlier this year, receives its North Americanpremiere. The true life drama stars Sean Penn, Naomi Watts and Don Cheadle.

*TIFF's Film ReferenceLibrary's Special Collections has acquired The Pashkovsky Collection, acatalogue of nearly 400 photographs of stars from the Golden Age of Hollywooddonated by filmmaker Barry Avrich.

Named after the 20th centuryfilmmaker Jack Pashkovsky, the collection features photographs of Greta Garbo,Clark Gable, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Durante, among others.

The Film Reference Libraryis a resource centre devoted to the study of film as art and industry and thepreservation and documentation of Canada's cinematic history.

It contains more than 1,000scripts and thousands of books, posters, film stills, and unique files onfilms, directors, and performers.
