Lars von Trier has said hisnext film, The Manager Of It All, will be a comedy that he will shoot inFebruary next year.

Speakingat a seminar at the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Jutland, Trierrecently elaborated on the genre of the new dogme film.

" The problem with comedy isthat it can quickly become very cliche like. It's all right with the situationsbeing cliches but the characters better not be. It's going to be a difficultbalancing act but I'm going to try my best", said Trier.

Trier has cast JensAlbinus, Peter Gantzler, Iben Hjejle, Louise Mieritz and Mia Lyhne. Dogmeregular Paprika Steen is still considering a part.

Set within the world of trade and industry, The Manager Of It All has a budget of $3.5m and is to be shot in six weeks.Vibeke Vindelow will produce through Zentropa.

Trier plans to shoot itwith only one microphone - a much harder feat than the several microphones usedon his first dogma film The Idiots.
