Tulchin Entertainment has completed a raft of licensing deals for the comedy-horror Elvira's Haunted Hills starring Elvira and Richard O'Brien, who starred in The Rocky Horror Show.

Classic 99 Pty has picked up television and video rights for Australia and New Zealand, Videosonic has acquired television and video rights for Greece, Elysee has picked up television and video rights for Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg and France and Lizard Company has acquired the same rights for Russia and CIS territories.

Mediapro Pictures has acquired Romanian television and video rights, Astro Distribution has taken German video rights and Cinema Nova has picked up theatrical, video and television rights in Portugal.

Company chief and veteran lawyer and producers representative Harris E Tulchin also announced the appointments of Robert C Yu and Jacob Leonti as co-directors of acquisitions, which became effective earlier this year.

Yu arrives from Paramount Classics and recently served under Mark Horowitz in international sales and acquisitions at Alliance Atlantis. Leonti previously served at LA-based talent management outfit Benderspink.
