PaoloFerrari, the head of Warner Bros. Italia, has been appointed president of Anica, Italy's national film body.

Hereplaces Gianni Massaro, the Italian entertainmentlawyer and former head of European production fund Eurimages,who has lead Anica since 2001.

Ferrariwill head the powerful Italian organization until the end of 2007.

"Ihave a specific task, which is to help Anica adapt tothe changing market, while keeping a specific focus on the nationalentertainment industry and Italian film," Ferrari said.

Ferrarihas appointed producer Filiberto Bandinias his deputy. Rai Cinema head Giancarlo Leone,producer Luciano Giotti andAntonio More', the president of Cinecitta's Umbrianstudios Papigno, are also on Anica'sboard as consultants.
