Warner BrosInternational Television Distribution (WBITD) has signed a multi-year deal toprovide content to T-Online for its broadband VOD service in Germany.

Beginning inSeptember, Warner Bros pictures from the Harry Potter and Matrix franchises, as well as Ocean's Twelve and The Polar Express, will be available on T-Online'sbroadband VOD service. The deal includes classic library titles like GoneWith The Wind.

New Releases will become available to T-Online concurrentwith its pay-per-view window. T-Online plans to add at least 100 library titleseach year to the service.

"We're excitedto be in business with T-Online, a leader in the VOD arena in Germany, andespecially pleased with the level of copyright protection this deal includes,"WBITD president Jeffrey Schlesinger said in a statement.

"Our Video onDemand service is made still more attractive by the partnership with WarnerBros," Burkhard Grassmann, board member for marketing at T-OnlineInternational, added.

Other recent VODdeals signed by WBITV executives include Telecom Italia for programming via itsRosso Alice portal in Italy, and the Nordic service SF Anytime with subscribersin Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
