01 Distribution has acquired Italian distribution rights toJohn Irvin's Venice out-of-competition title The Fine Art of Love.

Sold by Rome's AdrianaChiesa Enterprises (ACE), Irvin's period drama revolves around six girls agedsixteen who have been living in a luxurious orphanage-cum-finishing school froma very young age.

The film, which stars Jacqueline Bisset, is anItalian-Czech-UK co-production between Creative Partners International Limited,Balzer International Films and Italy's Titania Produzioni.

In Venice and Toronto, Adriana Chiesa is alsoselling All the Invisible Children, which was sponsored by children'srelief agency UNICEF, and directed by eight filmmakers including John Woo,Ridley Scott and Spike Lee.

ACE's slate also includes The Days ofAbandonment (I Giorni dell'Abbandono), a drama from Roberto Faenza withMargherita Buy and Luca Zingaretti which is screening in competition at Venice;and The Passion of Joshua The Jew, a Venice Directors' Fortnight titleby Pasquale Scimeca.
