Spain’s 6 Sales has closed deals with Ascot Elite for Germany, Four Corners in Benelux and Horizon One in Australia for comedy Ex Terminators which stars Heather Graham, Jennifer Coolidge and Amber Heard as three women who meet in an anger management class.
Indian powerhouse UTV has resolved to handle the US distribution itself on the English language comedy which marks UTV’s first independent US venture. It was produced by UTV in association with Michaelson Films and will be released in the US later this month.
6 Sales also closed deals in Russia (CP Digital), Romania (Pro Rom), Poland and Czech Republic (Peekshill), Middle East (Falcon) and Israel (DBS).
At AFM, Six Sales is also selling Fernando Trueba’s The Dancer & The Thief which is Spain’s Oscar entry, Simon Fellows’ Malice In Wonderland and Adam Salky’s Sundance competition entry Dare. Six Sales also has promos available for Suri Krishnamma’s thriller Locked In, starring Ben Barnes, and Ian Power’s comedy The Runway.
Projects the Madrid-based company has that are in pre-production include David Slade’s psychological horror filmCold Skin and Katia Lund’s Dancing Arabs.
