The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences has set an October 1 deadline for submissions in the foreign language film and the live action short film and animated short film categories.
Foreign language film-makers must submit entry forms, one English-subtitled film print or copy in an approved digital format, and all other required materials by the deadline. Only one feature will be accepted from each country.

The 83rd Academy Awards nominations will be announced on January 25, 2011 and the awards galas is set for February 27 at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center.
