Los Angeles-based sales company American Cinema International (ACI) has picked up worldwide rights excluding North America to the thriller Covered starring Vivica A Fox and Louis Gossett Jr.

Bill Duke directed the story of a woman who relies on her faith to hold her family together after she is accused of murder.

ACI has sold a raft of territories on the CGI animated Biblical tale The Ten Commandments. Rights closed in Latin America (Swen), Poland (Kartunz), Turkey (Showtime), and Romania (Vision).

Ben Kingsley, Christian Slater, Alfred Molina and Elliott Gould provide voice talent and Bill Boyce and John Stronach directed.

'It is a very exciting time at American Cinema International as we continue to expand our grasp on the worldwide marketplace by acquiring diverse theatrical and home entertainment product and by forming new alliances to distribute our titles,' ACI president Chevonne O'Shaughnessy said.
