Austrian production outfitAllegro Films is joining with London's Film and Music Entertainment on a slateof three films including a new project, Fever,to be directed by Bruce Beresford (DrivingMiss Daisy).

First up is the latestproject from Swiss-born director Simon Aeby,titled MulberryCrossing.

This will shoot in English,with a British cast. Currently casting in London, the film comes billed as a "contemporary study inguilt, power and redemption."

It will shoot in Vienna in March next year on a budget of $3.2m (Euros 2.7m).

Allegro's Helmut Grasser and Katharina Bogensberger willproduce alongside F&ME's Mike Downey and SamTaylor from an original screenplay by Simon Aeby.

The second project is Dolphins, a teenage road movie fromAustrian director Florian Flicker. This is about fouryoung people on the run from a war.

Currently location hunting inthe coastal regions of South Eastern Europe, Dolphinswill shoot in the first quarter of 2006 on a budget of $2.7m (Euros 2.3m).

Further information aboutBeresford's Fever will be revealedshortly. The project is being set up as a co-production between Film and MusicEntertainment, Allegro Film and LA-based Popcorn Pictures.

Simon Aeby'sprevious film, historical epic Shadow Of The Sword, on which Allegro and FAME also partnered,was a brisk seller at this month's AFM.
