The romantic comedy Along Came Polly has passed $80m at the international boxoffice according to latest information from UIP executives and still has fivecountries to go.
Meanwhile StrikeEntertainment's horror remake Dawn Of TheDead added $2.4m through UIP at the weekend to raise itsinternational running total to $11.9m, excluding $10.1m in the UK from anindependent release through Entertainment.
Opening figures for Hollandwill be announced on Tuesday after the Monday bank holiday throughout manyparts of Europe.
In Spain the picture dropped20% on last weekend, ranking fifth and adding $535,000 on 166 screens for a $1.3mtotal in its second week.
Dawn Of TheDead grossed $365,000 on 325 in Germany, ranking sixth after a 25%drop for $2.4m in its third week. Universal has 23 more countries to openincluding Australia on Jun 10.
The tongue-in-cheek zombiespin-off Shaun Of The Dead passed Dawn's cumulative total in the UK as it added $800,000 from 301, dropping 24% andranking fifth on $10.9m in its fourth week.
Dreamworks' The CatIn The Hat added $400,000 on 296 UK screens, raising its total therein its fifth week to $12.9m. Overall the picture has amassed $30m with fourcountries still to open.
