50 Eggs Productions has signed a direct distribution deal with AMC Entertainment Inc to handle Ten9eight: Shoot For The Moon during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The film illustrates the life-changing power of teaching entrepreneurship to inner city children and derives its name from the fact that a child drops out of high school every nine seconds.

Mary Mazzio produced and directed. AMC will release the film exclusively on November 13 at 15 theatres in eight markets and will offer a free screening on November 12 in each market for teachers and their students.

“The film’s message of entrepreneurship as a vehicle for keeping students in school is a powerful one, and we believe the film has the potential to positively influence every child that sees it,” AMC president of programming Robert J Lenihan said.
