Fledgling theatrical salesventure America Theatrical is busily assembling its initial slate and haspicked up international rights to Don McKellar's Childstar.

Launching here under theaegis of Argentina-based America Video Films, the company is targeting 12commercial titles for sale each year.

Childstar earned Jennifer Jason Leigh a best supportingactress Genie in March for her role as the mother of a burnt-out 12-year-oldwho runs away from the set of his latest film.

Eric Stoltz, Brendan Fehr,Mark Rendall, and McKellar also star in the picture, which was produced by NivFichman, Daniel Iron and Jennifer Jonas.

Senior vice president ofacquisitions Freddie Hancock's current roster includes Eduardo Pinto's BuenosAires-set kidnapping drama Palermo Hollywood, which was released in Argentinathrough Warner Bros and stars Brian Maya, Matias Desiderio and Manuela Pal.

Rounding out the slate is StoriesOf Lost Souls, comprising sevenshorts starring Cate Blanchett, Paul Bettany, and Hugh Jackman.
