Arthouse Films has acquired North American DVD rights to the Henri Cartier-Bresson double DVD box set, featuring five films by the master photographer and several documentaries on his life and work.

The deal was struck with French sales company MK2's head of sales Mathilde Henrot by David Koh, head of acquisitions & production for Arthouse and partner Lilly Bright and her Curiously Bright Entertainment.

The DVD set is due out in North America later in 2007.

'It is an honor not only to bring the collection of one of our favorite photographers to North American audiences, but to collaborate with MK2 on the beautiful box set that will feature his work. We're excited to make HCB's work accessible and present it as an item perfectly suited to every art lover, collector and Bresson fan,' said Koh and Bright in a joint statement.

MK2 added: 'We're pleased for the opportunity to work with the Arthouse Films label on presenting of this amazing one-of-a-kind collection of movies, photos, and documentaries on one of the most famous photographers of the 20th century.'
