The third instalment of the Austin Powers franchise rolled out in Austria on Thursday with$298,392 from 74 screens and a per-screen average of $4,031. In France aWednesday opening grossed $1.5m from 567 screens, a per-screen average of$2,619. Opening in the French and German-speaking parts of Switzerland, Goldmember took $291,290 from 58 screens, 19% higher than theopening for The Spy Who Shagged Mein 1999. It averaged $5,899.
