The British Academy of Film and Television Arts/Los Angeles(BAFTA/LA) is teaming up with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences toco-host an inaugural annual tea party honouring the British 2003 Emmy nominees.

The event will take place one week prior to the awards onSept 20 at The St Regis Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

"BAFTA/LA takes great honor in recognising the achievements of ourmembers in the television industry," BAFTA/LA chairman Gary Dartnall said in astatement.

"We're passing on our usual lattes and frappuccinos to take teawith our creative friends from around the Commonwealth," added Bryce Zabel,Chairman of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

"Televisionincreasingly passes through all national boundaries and this is a good chanceto focus on excellence wherever it originates."
