Sacha Baron Cohen will receive the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award For Excellence In Comedy on November 9 in Los Angeles.

“Sacha’s bravery and comic ingenuity is richly deserving of an honour that bears the name of Charlie Chaplin,” said BAFTA/LA chairman Gary Dartnall.

Baron Cohen’s credits include Borat, The Dictator, Les Misérables and the upcoming Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
